Our Philosophy and Pedagogy

“Everybody is a genius,” said Albert Einstein. “But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid.” The question we want to unravel for you is, “What is your child’s genius?”

At Curious Gigglers, we adopt an easy-to-follow approach to promote learning based on the life quotient. What this means is we empower a child with the ability to become conscious of his or her emotions, and to be able to use their emotions to build better relationships, hone their communication skills and imbibe sound moral values, among others. The life quotient can also be expressed as follows:

Intelligence quotient + emotional quotient + social quotient + value quotient = life quotient

We acknowledge that every parent, and their child, are unique. And which is why, we enable our children to explore and learn at their own pace without excessive interference in their journey of self discovery.

We do acknowledge that it is important to measure results. But, how about we view learning as a perpetual journey, and not as a test of memorising skills?

Children’s initial years, therefore, can simply be devoted to discovering the world around them, all while giving free reign to their curiosity.
